Workshop participants take home with them a 9” x 12” painting, a set of acrylic paints, brushes, a booklet on painting techniques and composition, and a viewfinder.

Class size: limited to eight participants per session. Age 15 and up (or permission of instructor)
Painting Site: Lower porch of the Maude Jellison LIBRARY. (With a great view of Mt. Ypsilon! - maps available in Sweet)

Things that will be covered in the class include: composition, determining a focal point, atmospheric painting, creating the illusion of depth, creating a sense of light and general painting techniques. The teaching approach includes demonstration, group and individual instruction.
